Burns White's Healthcare Litigation Department, Pittsburgh office, is a successful practice defending professional negligence claims on behalf of medical and healthcare professionals, assisted living facilities, personal care homes, skilled nursing facilities, acute and long-term acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and management services companies. Our work can be demanding at times – but it is rewarding and challenging. Teaching and ongoing development is important to us, and there is opportunity for team members at all levels to do substantive work. We are a well-established team of attorneys, paralegals, assistants, and a nurse.

Ideal Candidates Are…
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania
  • 5 or more yrs experience in professional liability, healthcare litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, or general liability
  • Quick learners with strong writing abilities
  • Organized, analytical, tenacious, hard-working, and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Willing to take initiative, ask questions, and work both independently and as part of a team

The salary range for attorney positions is $90,000 – 180,000 based on position, length and applicability of experience, scope of responsibility, and ability to bring or potential to expand business.
