Barnes & Thornburg LLP seeks an Associate for our Healthcare department in the firm's Chicago Office. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of healthcare litigation and regulatory experience.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates should have experience in healthcare-related litigation and regulatory matters, including defending clients in government investigations and enforcement actions.
- Prior investigator experience, as well as experience with CMS and healthcare coding issues, is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Stark Law is strongly preferred.
- Experience conducting or assisting with internal investigations, compliance reviews, or litigation involving healthcare providers, life sciences companies, or healthcare technology companies is a plus.
- Candidates must have a strong academic record, and excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Illinois bar membership or eligibility to waive into the Illinois bar is required.
- The right candidate will be entrepreneurial, eager to work directly with partners and clients, and excited to be part of a team handling a busy national healthcare litigation and regulatory practice.
