We have an exciting opportunity for an associate to join the Intellectual Property team in our Chicago office. Our cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and unique multidisciplinary practice that gives you the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and to participate in business development and client-facing activities. About You:
- You have 2-5 years of experience with intellectual property prosecution and litigation matters, particularly with patent and trademark matters;
- You have patent drafting experience, and strong research and brief writing skills;
- You have have strong communication, organization and time management skills;
- You have an Electrical Engineering degree (or its equivalent); and
- You have a JD degree (or its equivalent) and strong academic credentials, and you are admitted in (and in good standing with) Illinois and as a patent attorney before the USPTO (or you are taking steps to become admitted in Illinois and as a patent attorney before the USPTO).
