Job Description:We are looking for a 1st – 4th year associate to join our firm's growing Government Contracts practice in Washington, D.C. The associate will work on a broad range of government contracts matters spanning both litigation and transactional work. The associate will support bid protests before the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the U.S. Court of Federal Claims (COFC), and agency-level forums, as well as government contracts claims and disputes arising under the Contract Disputes Act (CDA), requests for equitable adjustment (REAs), and related proceedings. The associate will also support white-collar defense and government investigations, including False Claims Act (FCA) matters, suspension and debarment proceedings, and internal investigations.
The associate will also counsel government contractor clients on FAR/DFARS compliance, organizational conflicts of interest (OCI), mandatory disclosure obligations, cybersecurity requirements (CMMC, NIST 800-171), and supply chain risk management. The associate will also provide M&A due diligence and transactional support for deals involving government contractors, including analysis of government contract portfolios, novation and change-of-name requirements, assignment of claims issues, and successor liability under government contracts.
