The US Banking and Finance practice of A Distinctively Global Law Firm is looking for associates with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience and counsel or other attorneys with more experience to work in the Chicago, New York or Charlotte office or other locations. The ideal candidate should have strong deal experience working in a sophisticated corporate law firm (or similar setting) with a focus on representing borrowers, lenders, sellers or purchasers in US and cross-border trade finance, supply chain finance, commodity finance, receivables monetization, trade receivables securitization, asset based lending or other similar products. A Distinctively Global Law Firm is widely recognized as having one of the largest and most sophisticated receivables trade practices in the world. In the United States, the firm advises on more transactions of this type than any other law firm. The practice operates as a coordinated global team and has members throughout our platform including in the Charlotte, Chicago, New York, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, Paris, Mexico City, São Paulo and Singapore.This position offers the opportunity to become a key member of a successful and rapidly growing product team with a solid track record of promotion and opportunities to expand business. Attorneys looking to return to private practice from in-house positions or time away from the practice of law are encouraged to apply. A solid background in finance is a must, but given the unique nature of the practice area, we will consider candidates with no direct experience. Qualified candidates will have strong law school academic credentials together with relevant and sophisticated law firm and transaction experience.
