Skills and Experience We Desire
- Manage a diverse docket of litigation and pre-litigation matters, including government investigations, commercial, regulatory, IP, class action, and employment disputes.
- Collaborate with outside counsel to drive case strategy, manage risk, and deliver efficient results.
- Develop thoughtful, risk-based approaches to dispute resolution, enforcement, and defense that align with business objectives.
- Provide practical, business-oriented advice to internal stakeholders across functions (e.g., product, engineering, compliance, HR) to identify and mitigate risks.
- Draft and negotiate legal documents including settlements, demand letters, and pre-litigation responses.
- Help build internal processes to track, assess, and manage litigation risk globally.
Qualifications:
- At least 7-10 years of diverse litigation experience at a top law firm, with prior in-house legal department experience being preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and oversee global compliance investigations with respect to regulated businesses.
- Substantial experience managing complex litigation with minimal oversight, including case strategy, advocacy, and negotiations.
- Sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to balance legal risk with business priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
