Job Description:The New York office of Sidley Austin LLP is seeking associates for the Global Finance Group to work on warehouse lending and asset based financing transactions. The candidates should have at least three years of experience with asset-based lending transactions, representing borrowers or lenders. Familiarity with the acquisition and financing of consumer loans, mortgages, portfolios of single family homes and/or interests in private funds required. Responsibilities include drafting or reviewing transaction documents for asset based financings, including flow purchase agreements, loan and security agreements, servicing agreements, governing documents for SPV issuer and related legal opinions, and generally leading asset based warehouse financing transactions on behalf of borrower and lender clients. Candidates must be admitted or eligible for admission to the New York bar.
