As the Litigation Attorney- Workers Compensation, you will Independently manage your own caseload involving workers' compensation matters, working cases from beginning to end.
Essential Functions:
- Independently manage your own caseload involving workers' compensation matters, working cases from beginning to end.
- Handle all aspects of workers' compensation litigation including taking depositions and making appearances.
- Assume responsibility for cases at all levels of complexity.
- Develop and enact strategies leading to efficient resolution of cases.
- Negotiate and settle cases.
- Draft pleadings, reports, and other legal documents required.
Competencies:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing worker's compensation law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Required Education and Experience:
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- Candidates must be licensed to practice law in a US state.
Must meet I-9 requirements.
