Job Purpose:
As the Litigation Attorney- Workers Compensation, you will Independently manage your own caseload involving workers' compensation matters, working cases from beginning to end.

Essential Functions:
  • Independently manage your own caseload involving workers' compensation matters, working cases from beginning to end.
  • Handle all aspects of workers' compensation litigation including taking depositions and making appearances.
  • Assume responsibility for cases at all levels of complexity.
  • Develop and enact strategies leading to efficient resolution of cases.
  • Negotiate and settle cases.
  • Draft pleadings, reports, and other legal documents required.

Competencies:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing worker's compensation law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • Candidates must be licensed to practice law in a US state.

Work authorization requirements:
Must meet I-9 requirements.
