Description:

d'Arcambal Quesada Malyk Peters & Creed, LLP (d'QM), a well-established women-owned regional litigation firm, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its New Jersey practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial civil litigation experience, including first-chair or meaningful trial experience, who is interested in a potential path to partnership and an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the future of the firm.

This opportunity is designed for an attorney looking beyond the traditional senior associate role and seeking a long-term professional home. The ideal candidate will have an established or developing book of business, strong client relationships, or demonstrated interest in business development, and a desire to grow those relationships and build a practice. We are particularly interested in an attorney who values autonomy, leadership opportunities, collaboration, and the ability to help shape the continued growth of the firm.

The attorney will have significant responsibility for litigation strategy and case management, direct interaction with clients and their in-house legal teams, and the opportunity to handle matters through trial. Significant tort and personal injury defense experience is required, and meaningful trial experience is strongly preferred. Candidates must possess excellent writing, advocacy, and communication skills and be members in good standing of the New Jersey Bar.

This is a fully remote position, though candidates must be able to attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, trials, and other litigation events throughout northern and central New Jersey. We offer health benefits, a dental plan, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) with employer contribution, performance-based bonuses, and reimbursement for continuing legal education. We value work-life balance and are committed to providing experienced attorneys with the flexibility and support to develop their practices and careers.

Salary range: $140,000-$200,000, commensurate with experience, trial experience, and portable business. Additional performance-based and/or origination compensation may be available.
