Job Overview:Responsible for optimizing organizational efficiency regarding company legal matters. Primary responsibilities include providing expert and strategic legal advice to management, setting internal governance policies and procedures, and evaluating and weighing multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action from a legal perspective.
Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage assigned organizational legal matters
- Maintain knowledge of organization's operations and legal documents
- Promulgate and create directives of corporate acts and decisions
- Manage Contracts Department with focus on Customer Agreements and working with company stakeholders to ensure contracts meet SBM guidelines and are properly administered from inception through signed agreement, renewals and end of life as needed; ensure controls are in place to measure contract compliance as needed
- Develop structure to ensure subcontractor agreements employ proper risk transfer provisions and are compliant with customer requirements
- Provide legal support and oversight for corporate departments (e.g., HR, Procurement, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
- Point of contact for all assigned litigation matters
- Coordinates activities with outside counsel
- Responsible for entity formations and custodian of corporate documents
Qualification:

- Education and/ or Experience - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - May be required to have a valid driver's license
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Experience in real estate transaction and service agreements with Fortune 500 companies preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
