Position Overview:As General Counsel, you'll play a crucial role in identifying and addressing legal risks across our organization. Working closely with our executive leadership team, you'll provide strategic advice and expertisewithin our diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive leadership on legal and risk management issues.
- Develop and oversee a risk management framework to mitigate legal and financial exposure.
- Provide counsel on major decisions and organizational transactions.
- Manage outside legal counsel and budgets.
- Serve as the primary contact for reviewing and advising on various contracts.
- Supervise and support a team of professionals, promoting diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Oregon State Bar.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
