Goodwin's Corporate practice is seeking highly motivated third-year law students (JD 2027) to join our 2027 entry-level associate class. This is an opportunity to begin your career at a market-leading global law firm that advises many of the world's most innovative companies, investors, and entrepreneurs.

From emerging growth companies and venture capital financings to private equity transactions, strategic M&A, public company counseling, and capital markets matters, our Corporate associates work on sophisticated transactions that shape industries. As a first-year associate, you will gain meaningful responsibility, hands-on experience, and direct exposure to clients, while working alongside lawyers who are recognized leaders in their fields.

At Goodwin, we are committed to developing exceptional lawyers. Through formal training programs, mentorship, feedback, and on-the-job learning, you will build the legal, business, and industry knowledge needed to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced practice.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

Excellent academic credentials.
Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
A demonstrated interest in corporate and transactional law.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding client service.

Prior corporate, transactional, or business-related experience is helpful but not required.
