Varnum LLP seeks to hire an Associate Attorney to join the Banking and Finance Practice Team in any of our Michigan offices.This associate will assist the team in a wide range of transactions representing commercial lenders and borrowers on single- and multi-bank deals, including working capital lines of credit, term loan facilities, real estate facilities, and asset-based lending. The ideal candidate will at least three years of experience representing both borrowers and lenders in commercial finance transactions. The candidate will have experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting a variety of credit facilities, including secured and unsecured, syndicated, and single-lender deals. Successful candidates will possess excellent academic credentials; strong drafting and analytical skills; the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding customer/client service skills. Admission to the Michigan bar is required.
