Prestige Legal Solutions, P.C. is a Los Angeles-based law firm specializing in California lemon law. We represent clients across the state who have purchased defective vehicles that qualify as lemons. We are seeking a Fee Motion Attorney with deep knowledge of fee-shifting statutes, federal lodestar analysis, and motion practice. The ideal candidate is an exceptional legal writer and confident oral advocate who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and file persuasive, well-supported attorneys' fee motions in both state and federal court.
- Prepare replies to oppositions with clear legal analysis and effective rebuttals.
- Argue fee motions at hearings, presenting detailed lodestar justifications and addressing court inquiries.
- Apply relevant statutory frameworks, including requests for fee multipliers and enhancements.
- Analyze billing data and coordinate with support teams to prepare declarations and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with litigation and settlement teams to ensure accuracy and strategy alignment in billing.
- Attend hearings and participate in post-resolution advocacy as needed.
- Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of case law and court preferences.
- Support internal workflows, assist with process optimization, and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
Other:
- Active and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 4+ years of litigation experience, including demonstrated success drafting and arguing attorneys' fee motions.
- Expertise in California fee-shifting statutes, lodestar methodology, and multiplier arguments.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Tech-savvy and experienced with modern case management and billing systems.
