Description:

Quality candidates will have 10+ years of consultation or legal practice experience, and be well-versed in various aspects of federal employment law. This role is responsible for initial consultations with potential new clients, setting expectations for their legal matter, and describing how the firm's team of attorneys can help them achieve their goals. The ideal candidate must be understanding, articulate, and have strong verbal communication skills. Consult Attorneys will possess broad federal employment law experience, sound judgment, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of senior leadership and management in providing quality legal services. The position requires knowledge in areas including but not limited to federal EEO law, MSPB representation, OSC and whistleblower representation, adverse actions, federal appeals, and more. With the full backing of our deep and experienced support staff team, you will be able to focus squarely on the practice of law while our highly skilled management team navigates the challenges that come with the business side of law on your behalf.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in any US State Jurisdiction with good standing.
  • Minimally 10 years of proven experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment statues, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent litigation, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing cases and achieving client objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
