What You'll Do:
  • Represent clients in New York Family Court and Supreme Court proceedings
  • Handle divorce, custody, visitation, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-judgment matters
  • Manage contested, complex, and high-conflict family law cases
  • Develop case strategies and advise clients throughout the litigation process
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, agreements, and legal memoranda
  • Appear at conferences, hearings, settlement negotiations, motion arguments, and trials
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other involved professionals
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal support staff, and firm leadership
  • Maintain an active caseload while delivering responsive and compassionate client service

What We're Looking For:
  • Admission to and good standing with the New York State Bar
  • Family and/or matrimonial law experience preferred
  • Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills
  • Experience handling contested matters, hearings, and motion practice
  • Excellent legal writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client counseling and relationship-management abilities
  • Sound judgment and the ability to develop effective case strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and exceptional client service

Compensation:
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, leadership capabilities, and role level.

Approximate Base Salary Ranges
  • Associate Attorney: $110,000–$125,000
  • Senior Associate Attorney: $125,000–$145,000
  • Non-Equity Partner: $150,000+

Eligible attorneys may also participate in our Quarterly KPI Bonus Program, which rewards performance, client service, case management, leadership contributions, and overall practice success.

Compensation may be adjusted for highly qualified candidates based on demonstrated family law expertise, leadership experience, professional accomplishments, and portable business.
