DeLacey, Riebel & Shindell, LLP is a boutique family law firm in San Francisco representing high-net-worth clients through complex, high-stakes divorce matters. We're a full-service firm with deep trial experience, and we're growing. We're hiring an experienced Family Law Associate to work directly with one of our founding partners.This isn't a firm where associates get buried in file review and forgotten. You'll carry real casework, learn trial strategy directly from the partner who built this practice, and have a say in how we deliver service to clients.

- Direct mentorship from a founding partner on strategy, trial prep, and client management
- A caseload built around complex, high-net-worth matters, not volume-driven files
- A firm that is incredibly selective about which clients it takes, so the work stays substantive
- Real input into how the firm runs. We want your ideas on how we can improve.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of family law experience, or 5+ years of civil litigation experience including trial work (family law background preferred, not required)
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, and a solid grounding in civil law and procedure
- The judgment to size up a case's strengths and weaknesses early, and the composure to guide clients through some of the hardest moments of their lives
- JD from an accredited law school and active California Bar admission in good standing
- Full-time. Flexible hybrid, based in San Francisco. Remote considered for more experienced candidates working West Coast hours, with travel to the Bay Area for trials and firm events
- Salary range: $140,000 to $180,000, with room to negotiate for experienced candidates
- Quarterly performance bonuses, plus origination compensation tied to revenue you bring into the firm
