Wheeler Law PLLC is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, driven Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. Our firm represents clients in divorce, child custody, child support, protective orders, modifications, and related family law matters—with a strong emphasis on client-centered, culturally-competent advocacy.We are seeking an attorney with at least 2+ years of family law experience who can handle their own caseload, communicate effectively with clients, and work collaboratively with our litigation and support team. Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred due to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of family law matters (divorce, custody, support, paternity, modifications, etc.)
- Develop case strategy, draft pleadings, and prepare disclosure and evidence
- Attend hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to clients
- Collaborate with the team to ensure cases move efficiently and consistently according to firm procedures
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and meet firm productivity goals
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and license to practice law in Arizona (in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years of family law litigation experience
- Strong writing, advocacy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Spanish language ability preferred (not required)
