Description:Wheeler Law PLLC is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, driven Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. Our firm represents clients in divorce, child custody, child support, protective orders, modifications, and related family law matters—with a strong emphasis on client-centered, culturally-competent advocacy.
We are seeking an attorney with at least 2+ years of family law experience who can handle their own caseload, communicate effectively with clients, and work collaboratively with our litigation and support team. Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred due to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to ensure cases move efficiently and consistently according to firm procedures
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and meet firm productivity goals
- Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
- Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases
- Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
- Keep client files properly organized and up to date
Qualifications:
- Active Member of the Arizona State Bar
- At least 2+ years of working in a law firm on family law issues
- Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
