Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with 5 – 7 years of practiceto join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong litigator with excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach, and a passion for helping families navigate their family law matters.

This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution while collaborating with a team. You will be empowered to build strong client relationships, advocate zealously, and embody our firm's mission of providing compassionate and client-focused legal representation.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, legal separation, child custody, support, and other relevant family law matters.
  • Appear in court for hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure timely case management, including filing deadlines and compliance with court rules.
  • Provide timely, sound legal advice, and maintain clear communication with clients throughout their case.
  • Stay informed about changes in family law regulations and related areas.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, and other attorneys within the firm.
  • Participate in firm initiatives including professional development, community involvement, and client education.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of family law experience required.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in conducting legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing case files.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Legal administrative experience is a plus.
