An Orange County Family Law Attorney & Law Firm, a premier Irvine based family law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least two years of experience in Family Law litigation. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney eager to manage their own caseload and engage in litigation, under the supervision of an experienced attorney. Responsibilities include handling cases related to marital dissolution, custody disputes, Domestic Violence Restraining Orders, child support, and parentage actions.Applicants should be highly motivated and actively working towards CFLS accreditation. The role requires both effective collaboration and the independent management of a daily caseload. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proactive behavior in meeting deadlines, skill in strategic planning, and the ability to maintain thorough communication with both team members and clients.
Responsibilities include drafting legal pleadings, preparing cases for trial, making court appearances, participating in settlement conferences, conducting depositions, and formulating effective discovery plans. This position provides a dynamic environment where attorneys can refine their legal expertise through extensive hands-on experience.
Qualifications for the position include:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a family law attorney.
- Ability to identify and develop case deadlines efficiently.
- Competence in discovery issues.
- Exceptional writing skills.

Requirements:
- Law Degree from an ABA-accredited
- License to Practice Law in California
- 2+ years of litigation experience in Family law
- 1500 Billable Hour Requirement
