Key Responsibilities:
- Manage family law matters from inception through resolution, including divorce, custody, support, division of assets, and post-judgment issues.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediation sessions.
- Maintain communication and build trusted relationships with clients navigating complex transitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal strategy and case evaluation.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active, good-standing membership with the State Bar.
- Family law experience a plus, but not required.
- Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- An empathetic, client-centric approach combined with sharp analytical thinking.
- A team-first attitude and a desire to contribute to a supportive office culture.
