Description:
About the role:You will work on a variety of cases with one-on-one mentorship from the firm's principal, with increasing responsibility as you develop. Day to day, you will:
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and judgments
- Handle written discovery and depositions
- Make court appearances and argue motions
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
- Manage cases from intake through resolution with paralegal support
- Work on matters ranging from straightforward dissolutions to complex financial and custody cases
What We Require:
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active California State Bar membership in good standing
- California litigation experience (family law strongly preferred, but we will consider attorneys with civil litigation backgrounds who want to build a career in family law)
- Experience with contested custody matters
- Familiarity with complex asset division (RSUs, business valuations, cryptocurrency)
- Existing family law caseload or professional network
Compensation:
- Base salary: $120,000 to $220,000 based on experience
- 5% origination bonus on all fees collected from clients you bring in (continues for the lifetime of the case, even if you leave the firm)

Work Environment:
This position is based in our Rancho Santa Margarita office (30211 Avenida de las Banderas, Suite 200, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688), where you will work alongside the firm's principal. Hybrid scheduling or Irvine office days may be available after an initial onboarding period.
