We are looking to add an Associate Attorney to our office. Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the family law field, or must be very passionate about becoming a family law attorney. Must be willing to work as a team with accountability being a major asset. Our firm, A Divorce, Custody Law Firm is a small family law firm with an office in Fuquay Varina, NC and serves mainly Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Wake, and Durham Counties. This position will be a mix of managing your own case load, with assistance from one of the partners of the firm. You will also assist the partners and other associates with their individual case loads in order to learn and gain valuable insight into the practice of family law. The ideal candidate must be able to prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, separation agreements, contracts, judgments and orders while being supervised by a partner or senior attorney. Must be comfortable (or have a desire to become comfortable) with litigation and court appearances. Must be familiar, or become familiar, with each county's Local Rules.Must be able to remain patient and empathetic, and able to work with a heavy caseload.
More Job Details: Compensatory pay with a bonus structure. Will also be based on experience.
