For more than two decades, our firm has represented clients throughout Florida in sophisticated and emotionally complex family law matters involving contested divorce litigation, business owners, professionals, high-net-worth marital estates, paternity actions, custody disputes, relocation cases, modifications, enforcement proceedings, prenuptial agreements, and high-conflict parenting matters.

We are currently seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our Coral Gables office. This position is ideal for an attorney who is looking for meaningful litigation and courtroom experience, strong mentorship, professional growth, and the opportunity to become part of a modern and expanding regional family law practice.

Associates are given real responsibility, direct client interaction, courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to develop professionally within the firm. We value attorneys who are proactive, organized, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable handling challenging family law matters with professionalism and composure.

The ideal candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage cases independently while also working collaboratively with the litigation team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing contested and uncontested family law matters from inception through resolution
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
  • Attending hearings, mediations, case management conferences, and trials
  • Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Developing case strategy in collaboration with the firm's attorneys
  • Participating in business networking and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
  • Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing
  • Prior family law and/or litigation experience preferred
  • Courtroom and evidentiary hearing experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and case management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and the Florida e-Filing Portal
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
