Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, legal decision-making, parenting time, child support, and post-decree issues
- Develop and execute strategic case plans designed to achieve efficient, high-value outcomes for clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations
- Deliver an exceptional client experience through clear communication, responsiveness, and results-driven advocacy
- Utilize Modern Law's technology, systems, and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize administrative overhead
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the firm's case management and billing systems
- Meet or exceed productivity, revenue, and performance expectations tied to compensation and advancement
- Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure cases move forward efficiently
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems, and enhance client outcomes
- Participate in ongoing training, feedback, and professional development to continuously elevate performance
- Contribute to firm culture by modeling accountability, ownership, and a growth mindset
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
- Minimum of 2+ years of family law experience preferred (litigation experience strongly valued)
- Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently and efficiently
- Strong courtroom presence, negotiation skills, and strategic legal judgment
- High level of comfort with technology, including case management systems, digital workflows, and legal productivity tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with clear expectations and accountability
- Strong business mindset with an understanding of how legal work drives revenue and results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High emotional intelligence and professionalism when working with clients in high-conflict situations
- Growth-oriented mindset with openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement
- Proven reliability, ownership mentality, and follow-through
Compensation:
$125,000 + DOE
