Summary:We are seeking an Experienced Immigration Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate has strong immigration law experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a full caseload independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients before EOIR, USCIS, ICE, and other government agencies
- Handle removal defense and family-based immigration matters
- Prepare and file applications, motions, briefs, waivers, and supporting evidence
- Appear at master calendar hearings, individual hearings, bond hearings, and USCIS interviews
- Conduct client consultations and provide clear guidance throughout the legal process
- Manage deadlines, court dates, and case progress using firm systems
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure strong case preparation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. state; Texas licensure preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of immigration law experience, particularly in removal defense and/or family-based petitions.
- Strong knowledge of immigration statutes, procedural rules, and agency processes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a high-volume caseload effectively.
- Professional fluency in English; Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
