Role Objectives:
As an Estate Planning Attorney, you will be the attorney specializing in assisting our clients in creating comprehensive plans for the distribution of their assets and the management of their estates after death. The primary goal of an Estate Planning Attorney is to help clients avoid probate, and ensure that their wishes are carried out according to applicable laws while managing cases with the help of our Estate Planning team.

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their financial and familial situations to understand clients' goals and objectives for estate planning.
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Stay updated on federal and state laws related to estate planning, probate, and taxation. Analyze and interpret complex legal documents.
  • Drafting Estate Planning Documents: Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents tailored to client's specific needs and create strategies to minimize estate taxes and protect assets.
  • Asset Protection: Implement measures to protect clients' assets from potential creditors and advise on methods to safeguard wealth for future generations.
  • Client Education: Educate clients on the importance of estate planning and the potential consequences of inadequate planning while guiding beneficiary designations, life insurance, and retirement accounts.

Requirements:
At least one (1) year of Florida Estate Planning Experience: Possess a minimum of one year of experience as a Florida Estate Planning Attorney, demonstrating a solid understanding of the legal processes and procedures within the realm of Florida estate planning law.
