About the Job:An Insurance Attorney is a law firm located in Carmel and Palm Desert, California. We are looking for a full-time, in-office Estates and Trust Attorney in our Carmel Office.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have 3+ years of estates and trust experience with a law firm
- Be able to meet monthly 150 billable hour requirement
- Have a solid grasp of drafting estate documents, trust administrations, and probate
- Have a positive, can do, will do attitude
- Have a strong work ethic and work long hours when needed to meet required billable hours or client deadlines
- Be responsible to clients, colleagues and the firm
- Follow through on commitments made to clients, supervisors and colleagues
- Be committed to developing/improving and following best practices related to client work and firm protocols
- Be a terrific communicator who can rock frequent in person or telephone calls with clients and team members
- Be a solution finder
- Have excellent writing skills and take pride in well crafted estate and trust documents as to content and form
- Honor our legal profession and the role as attorney through maturity and professionalism
- Have initiative with a solid drive to learn, and to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines
- Have the ability to work in a team and independently
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree
- California State Bar License holder in good standing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
