Description:
An Employment Attorney, a firm that exclusively represents employees, is expanding and currently seeking a Class Action Attorney for our Burbank office.We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, is able to work collaboratively in a team environment, and has excellent research and writing skills. The attorney in this position will work closely with the head of the Class Action Department and will have the opportunity to handle all aspects of the firm's class action cases, from initial investigation/intake through settlement approval.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing potential client files
- Drafting pleadings, motions, mediation briefs, and settlement agreements
- Conducting written and deposition discovery
- Communicating with clients and potential clients
- Conducting original legal research on various topics
- Collaborating with Class Action department staff
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 0-3 years of employment law experience, class action experience preferred, but not necessary
- Strong understanding of the California Labor Code
- Must be comfortable providing guidance to non-attorney team members as needed
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Candidates must be in good standing with the CA State Bar
