Description:

Launch Your Trial Career.
Are you a recent law school graduate or newly licensed Texas attorney ready to step into the courtroom, take real ownership of cases, and train directly with experienced plaintiff trial lawyers?

We are a high-impact El Paso litigation firm dedicated to protecting everyday people against powerful insurance companies and negligent corporations. We specialize in high-stakes personal injury, wrongful death, and labor & employment disputes. We don't hide our new associates behind a desk tracking billable minutes—we build trial lawyers.

Why This Role Is Different
  • NO Billable Hour Quotas: Unlike traditional insurance defense firms that chain young associates to arbitrary 1,800–2,000+ hour billing targets, we prioritize client outcomes, trial readiness, and substantive skill development over spreadsheet math.
  • Experienced Mentorship: Receive direct, hands-on guidance from an experienced trial lawyer and recognized leader in the State Bar of Texas and its Labor & Employment section. You will learn case strategy, high-level pleading draftsmanship, deposition tactics, and courtroom presence directly from a seasoned trial lawyer.
  • Unmatched Courtroom Footprint: Gain direct opportunities for courtroom advocacy and real trial exposure far exceeding what is offered at defense firms. You will manage real plaintiff cases from intake through resolution, take depositions, and stand in court with a dedicated mentor by your side.
  • A High-Demand Dual Specialty: Master the intersection of personal injury and employment law (often advocating for workers facing illegal employment action after an injury), equipping you with a uniquely versatile and powerful litigation toolkit early in your career.

What You'll Do:
  • Help Manage Litigation Strategy: Help manage an active plaintiff's docket spanning catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and employment claims (discrimination, FMLA, wrongful termination).
  • Draft & Argue: Draft high-caliber pleadings, substantive motions, and targeted discovery requests. Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Champion Clients: Work directly with clients, guiding them compassionately through the complex legal process from initial sign-up to final verdict or settlement.

Who We're Looking for:
  • Licensure: Active Texas law license (recently passed the TX Bar / entry-level candidates strongly encouraged to apply), or if you are waiting for your results.
  • Language Skill: Spanish fluency or proficiency preferred to effectively communicate with and advocate for our local client community.
  • Experience: 0–4 years of litigation experience. Recent law school grads with grit, strong writing skills, and a fire for plaintiff advocacy are welcome.
  • Skills: Sharp analytical thinking, excellent legal research and writing, and a relentless commitment to trial readiness and client justice.
  • Location: On-site in Central El Paso, TX.
