We are seeking a dedicated, bilingual (fluent in both Spanish and English) Associate Attorney to join our general practice law firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a broad range of legal matters, and providing high-quality representation to our clients.
This is a full-time position with working hours generally from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Pay Range:
$90k - $125k yearly, based on experience.
Duties:
- Conducting consultations and engaging with potential clients.
- Performing thorough legal research.
- Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs and contracts.
- Communicating with clients, witnesses and other attorneys.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
- Representing clients in court proceedings.
- Handling administrative tasks related to legal matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice in Texas and be in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English and Spanish.
- At least 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- Familiarity with one or more of our practice areas, including personal injury, litigation, immigration, family law, estate planning, probate, criminal law, and consumer law.
- Trial experience.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
