Description:
Established Plaintiff's personal injury law firm located in Mid Wilshire is seeking an associate attorney to join their team. Applicant should have 0-2 years of litigation experience Personal Injury and be able to manage a reasonable caseload under the guidance of a supervising attorney.Do not be afraid to succeed and passionately crush goals in the office or go above and beyond on a case.
Training and ongoing guidance will be provided to support the associate's professional development and success in the role.
Attorney Responsibilities:
- Developing case strategy and tactics to effectively represent clients
- Communicating consistently with clients
- Managing all aspects of a client's file
- Collaborate closely with case managers, paralegals, legal assistants, and the pre-litigation team.
- Manage and regularly review litigation calendars, deadlines, hearings, and court dates.
- Draft, review, and file lawsuits, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct all phases of written discovery, including drafting and propounding discovery requests.
- Review and prepare responses to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Analyze discovery responses and supporting documents for completeness and case strategy.
- Meet and confer with opposing counsel regarding discovery issues and disputes.
- Assist with deposition preparation and other litigation-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with court rules, procedural requirements, and litigation deadlines.
- Work closely with case managers, paralegals, legal assistants, and the pre-litigation team

Supplemental Pay:
