We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced associate attorney to join our dynamic legal team at King L. Wu & Associates, P.C., located in Flushing, New York. Committed to providing exceptional legal services to our diverse clientele, a well-rounded background in different areas of law is essential to this position.

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
Assist in all aspects of the discovery process, including document review and preparation.
Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted in the State of New York
1-3 years of experience in litigation.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex legal issues and provide effective solutions.
Ability to handle a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, enabling the meeting of deadlines and effective prioritization of tasks
Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management software to enhance productivity and streamline workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in immigration and criminal law a plus
