Job Summary:A New Jersey Personal Injury Lawyer, a Full-Service Firm in Little Falls, New Jersey, is seeking an Entry Level Associate to join our team. We are seeking an individual with exceptional legal writing and research skills for our Civil Litigation Department. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in Civil Procedure and Court appearances, as well as Civil Litigation, Employment Law, Criminal Law, and Real Estate transactions.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memorandums of law;
- Prepare and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions, contracts, and agreements;
- Participate in negotiations and engage in formal correspondence with opposing counsel;
- Assist with case management, including organizing files and maintaining documentation;
- Attend depositions, hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings;
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor Degree
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey – other admissions are a plus but not required;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to analyze complex legal documents and extract relevant information;
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
