We have an immediate opening in our Madison or Milwaukee offices for an Energy Regulatory & Commercial Litigation Associate with one to three years of experience preferred. Experience involving advocacy before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, state utility commissions, or involving power transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, power sales, and related matters, would be beneficial. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources business unit and, among other things, will work on assisting clients who are building renewable energy infrastructure around the country.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active Wisconsin bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
