An American Multinational Law Firm is seeking qualified candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join its Energy & Infrastructure practice as an energy transactional associate. An American Multinational Law Firm is open to hiring candidates for this role in our Washington D.C., Houston and New York offices; candidates should apply to their office of interest.

The position entails representing financial institutions, commodity trading companies, energy marketers, project developers, and other companies and investors in the rapidly evolving energy sector with respect to a wide variety of physical and financial transactions, and energy transition. Candidates should have experience in project finance and securitization of energy assets, and have negotiated and documented structured transactions, hedging, offtake, and other trading arrangements for conventional and renewable electricity, environmental products, and natural gas, and be conversant with credit and security documentation and with the standard master agreements used in the energy and commodities trading industry, including the ISDA and its physical annexes, the EEI, and the NAESB.

Candidates need to be team players with strong interpersonal skills who are willing to take on substantial roles in project management and are comfortable with client interaction. Candidates should be admitted to practice law in Washington D.C., New York, or Texas.
