Description:
Stevenson Marino LLP is seeking an attorney to join our employment litigation practice in our Long Island, Deer Park office. Duties would include all aspects of litigation, with direct client contact and responsibilities commensurate with experience/skill set. The Ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery demands and responses. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and independently meet deadlines.We will train on aspects of litigation and employment law. We are simply looking for a hardworking individual who is self-motivated, who will physically join us to work at the Deer Park office.
Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA accredited Law School
- Admitted in NY (required)
- Preference for 1 year of litigation experience (employment litigation preferred), but willing to consider recent law school graduates.
- Outstanding research, writing and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not necessary
For first year, in-person work at the office is required; modified remote schedule offered after Employee has become established.
