Reporting to the Director for Employment, Privacy, and Cybersecurity, you'll be responsible for leading a team of experienced employment attorneys in providing strategic guidance and practical, solutions-oriented counsel to corporate business partners and leaders across the organization. You'll build trusted partnerships across the firm and collaborate with fellow members of the Legal, Ethics, and Compliance team to protect and advance the company, while navigating the complex, multifaceted, and often novel legal and compliance risks we face today. Guided by Booz Allen's purpose and values, together we'll anticipate and proactively prepare for the issues we'll encounter tomorrow. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
  • 12+ years of experience with practicing law in a law firm, corporate or government environment
  • Experience with supervising or overseeing the work of attorneys, paralegals, and other professionals
  • Experience with advising and providing strategic support to clients and business partners on wide range of employment-related matters, including employment claims, wage and hour issues, non-compete agreements, high-risk performance management issues, workplace safety, and leaves and accommodations
  • Experience with monitoring legislative trends and devising practical strategies for continued compliance with national, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Experience with advising on employment investigation processes and leading complex matters involving to employee misconduct, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other violations of law or policy
  • Experience with managing litigation and outside counsel resources, as well as strategy for responding to administrative and government agency charges, audits, and requests
  • Ability to partner with client leaders and partners to build consensus on complex employment law and business issues
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple complex matters simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to translate technical advice into succinct, clear, and direct business solutions
  • J.D. degree and active admission to a state bar
