Our team of recognized employment lawyers are both litigators and counselors who are engaged in a full spectrum of employment matters.

We are seeking experienced associate employment attorneys to join our team in our Roseland, New Jersey office.

Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, proactive and collaborative employment attorney with at least 2 years of employment litigation experience defending discrimination, retaliation, restrictive covenants and wage and hour litigation in the state and federal courts of NJ and before government agencies. Additional preferred skills include:
  • Substantive knowledge of federal and state employment laws;
  • Familiarity with all facets of employment litigation, including responding to pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing skills are a must. Writing samples are required.
  • Experience providing advice and counsel to employers on employment-related issues including wage and hour, performance management, workplace accommodations, leave laws and reductions-in-force;
  • Experience drafting employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks and employment policies;
  • New Jersey bar admission is required. New York bar admission is preferred, and application to the New York bar will be required of the successful candidate after joining A  Bankruptcy & Creditors Rights Litigation Law Firm, if not already so admitted.
