Description:

The Associate/Document Review Attorney responsible for handling document/pleading review for residential foreclosure matters and facilitating a response to correspondence or other communication related to the pleadings.

Position Requirements:
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure related pleadings.
  • Handle and coordinate responses to correspondence or outreach relating to the pleadings.
  • Conduct pre-foreclosure title review. Learn the title claim and title clearance process.
  • Regular client meetings/updates.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate.
  • Member in good standing of the NC Bar.
  • 1-2 years of foreclosure experience
  • Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone).
  • Provides exceptional client service.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
  • Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance.
  • Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Upon demonstration of success, after six (6) months, the position can move to a hybrid status with 50/50 in the office.
