We're seeking a Criminal Defense Attorney who is passionate about protecting constitutional rights, developing strong litigation skills, and advocating for clients facing serious criminal allegations throughout Arizona.

This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful criminal matters, gain substantial courtroom experience, and collaborate closely with experienced criminal defense attorneys who are committed to strategic, aggressive representation.

What You'll Be Doing:

Represent clients in misdemeanor and felony criminal matters
Appear regularly in Arizona courts for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings
Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and other court filings
Conduct legal research and develop defense strategies
Negotiate with prosecutors and opposing counsel
Prepare cases for evidentiary hearings and trial
Maintain direct communication with clients throughout representation
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to achieve exceptional client outcomes

This role provides exposure to a wide variety of criminal defense matters, including:

Felony offenses
Drug crimes
Domestic violence allegations
DUI matters
Assault and violent crimes
White collar investigations
Complex criminal litigation
We are looking for an attorney who is excited by litigation, strategic thinking, and meaningful advocacy.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active Arizona Bar membership in good standing
Strong legal writing and research skills
Excellent communication and courtroom presence
Strong organizational and case management abilities

Preferred:

Criminal defense experience
Prosecutorial experience
Litigation experience
Trial advocacy experience
Experience handling felony matters
