Description:

Duties:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
  • Assist with legal administrative tasks such as drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and maintaining calendars
  • Prepare and write legal briefs, memorandums, and other legal documents
  • Assist in the preparation for and participation in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
  • Collaborate with the senior attorney to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
  • Utilize legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to for research

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar association
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in using legal research databases such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
