Description:
Duties:- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Assist with legal administrative tasks such as drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and maintaining calendars
- Prepare and write legal briefs, memorandums, and other legal documents
- Assist in the preparation for and participation in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with the senior attorney to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
- Utilize legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to for research
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in using legal research databases such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
