Thompson Coburn is seeking an associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Corporate and Securities practice. The ideal candidate will have experience advising buyers, sellers, private equity firms, and investors on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, securities transactions, and other complex corporate matters. Candidates should have experience conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing deal processes, advising on corporate governance, and counseling clients on securities law and regulatory compliance. All candidates must currently be licensed to practice law in the state in which the office is located.The salary range for this position in our Chicago, New York, Dallas, and Washington D.C. offices is $215,000-$290,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training, and other job-related factors. The range listed is just one part of Thompson Coburn's total compensation and benefits package, which includes productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident, and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
