Hogan Lovells Cadwalader's Boston office is seeking a highly motivated mid-level transactional tax associate to join its dynamic and growing tax practice. Ideal candidates will have transactional tax experience from a large law firm, a Big Four national tax practice or the IRS National Office.

The tax associate will work on a broad range of sophisticated corporate, partnership, and international tax matters arising in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other complex transactions, including both domestic and cross-border matters. Candidates with experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the tax aspects of M&A, joint venture and other transactional documents are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will possess outstanding analytical, research and writing skills, strong academic credentials, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence and client service. A minimum of three years of relevant transactional tax experience is preferred.

The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $390,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate's qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses. Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off.
