The Corporate Counsel for Voyager Corporate is responsible for work closely with finance and business operations. This role will be responsible for providing legal counsel on a broad range of corporate matters, with a focus on commercial contracts and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, preferably gained in-house or through a combination of law firm and corporate experience.
The position reports to the General Counsel and is part of the Legal department based in Denver, CO. This role is remote.
In this role, the essential functions are:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer and supplier contracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, licensing agreements, and services agreements
- Advise on corporate governance matters, entity formation, capitalization, and internal reorganizations. Assist with corporate transactions, financings, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
- Partner with the compliance and export control teams to ensure contracts align with regulatory requirements, including government contracting and international trade considerations
- Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidance to streamline the contracting process
- Support post-acquisition integration activities, including aligning legal entities, contracts, and compliance obligations across the combined business.

- J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of residence/practice.
- 4+ years of experience practicing corporate, contracts, or transactional law in an in-house legal department (strongly preferred) or at a law firm.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to independently manage a high volume of agreements.
- Familiarity with government contracting, export controls (ITAR/EAR), or the aerospace/defense industry is a plus, but not required
- Excellent judgment, business acumen, and ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
