Description:
Minimum Qualifications:- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- Experience with M&A or investments transactions.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience advising clients on project finance transactions, complex JVs, or renewable energy/data center financings.
- Experience performing due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating cross-functional deal teams, and advising business stakeholders and senior management.
- Ability to conversant in a broad range of legal topics impacting corporate transactions, including tax, intellectual property and employment.
- Strong communication and project management skills and ability to navigate fast-paced and fluid environments.
- Outstanding judgment and ability to identify, distill and manage complex issues quickly and effectively.

You will be expected to support a variety of M&A, investment and other strategic corporate transactions, advising clients and stakeholders and managing key aspects of due diligence, drafting and execution.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $252000 - $352000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:
- Support a variety of M&A, investment and other strategic corporate transactions in a substantive fashion with a significant degree of independence.
- Work closely with Google's corporate development team and cross-functional partners throughout the life cycle of each deal.
- Provide education and advice on corporate matters both within the legal department and across Google.
- Assist in developing legal strategy both on specific and across multiple transactions.
