Requirements:
You'll play a key role on Lancium's legal team, providing strategic legal support across the organization. This includes advising on commercial contracting, real estate matters, corporate governance, and a broad range of day-to-day operational issues. In this role, you'll partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment driving the future of clean energy.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, confidentiality, and service contracts.
  • Support corporate governance matters, including maintenance of company records, resolutions, and subsidiary management.
  • Assist with advising internal stakeholders on legal risks, contract interpretation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies, templates, and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct legal research and help provide guidance on issues related to operational matters as needed
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Operations, IT, etc.) to support day-to-day business activities and initiatives.
  • Manage and coordinate work with external counsel as necessary.

What We Want From You:
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 2–4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably at a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Exposure with real estate transactions and corporate contract negotiation.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and business-oriented approach to problem solving.
