The Industrial Cybersecurity Company, Inc. is looking for a Corporate Counsel. The position is available for US-based candidates (remote, with a preference for a candidate in the Eastern or Central time zones). It will report to the The Industrial Cybersecurity Company's Senior Corporate Counsel in the U.S.

Responsibilities:
The role is a generalist in-house counsel position. The candidate will be a key resource responsible for, among other things:
  • Drafting and negotiating all types of agreements between The Industrial Cybersecurity Company and its customers, partners, and vendors
  • Ensuring compliance with various regulatory matters, including privacy matters
  • Handling various corporate matters related to The Industrial Cybersecurity Company and its affiliates worldwide
  • Working and coordinating with internal stakeholders, other members of the legal team, and outside counsel as necessary
  • Strategically advising the business on commercial and related legal matters

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience working as a commercial lawyer in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department
  • Significant experience with negotiating various commercial transactions worldwide, with a particular focus on SaaS and other licensing agreements, partner agreements, and general purchasing matters
  • Working knowledge of legal issues related to global commercial transactions
  • Comfort and familiarity with cloud-based SaaS technologies
  • Familiarity with privacy law issues, including GDPR and evolving United States privacy regulations
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to work independently through issues, work in a fast-paced environment, and provide pragmatic, legally sound advice to business stakeholders
  • Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and conversational skills
  • Highly motivated team player with attention to detail, a problem-solving attitude, and an ability to work under pressure, with availability outside of normal business hours as necessary
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Ideal Attributes:
  • Experience with Federal Government contracting
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry
  • Experience working in various CLM software (IronClad preferred)
