As Corporate Counsel, you'll play a vital role in supporting our dynamic business by providing expert legal guidance and support across our various business units and affiliated entities. We're seeking a dedicated professional with extensive experience in real estate service contracts who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses the acumen to navigate complex legal matters with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of real estate service contracts essential to Stream's operations, including non-disclosure agreements, property management agreements, listing agreements, tenant/buyer representation agreements, cooperating broker agreements, commission agreements, project/construction management agreements and more.
  • Ensure contracts are processed efficiently while minimizing risk exposure, utilizing sound business judgment and legal expertise.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on non-standard contract terms and associated risks to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Interpret and communicate contract requirements and obligations clearly and effectively to relevant parties.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract negotiations and execution.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial real estate service contracts, real estate, and construction law, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Must have experience in negotiating, reviewing and drafting a majority of the following contract types: non-disclosure agreements, property management agreements, listing agreements, tenant/buyer representation agreements, cooperating broker agreements, commission agreements, and project/construction management agreements.
  • Proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various real estate contracts, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and analytical prowess.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing, with a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and admission to the State Bar of Texas.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently and adapt to evolving priorities.
